NEC Enhanced Video Analytics™ (NEC EVA)
One of NEC EVA’s core applications is real-time security monitoring, leveraging NEC’s top-performing face recognition mechanism in challenging crowded and complex environments. NEC EVA is an ideal solution for organizations that are interested in understanding crowd demographics, such as age group and gender. The solution delivers situational intelligence captured in still images and video surveillance footage, making it ideal for high traffic areas or environments where individuals congregate, such as sporting events.
The LPGA will use NEC EVA at the tournament entrance to better understand fan demographics. NEC EVA will also provide live screening by comparing attendees’ faces against a watch list for a safer environment.
NeoFace® Express
NeoFace Express is NEC’s rapid identity verification and authentication solution. Using facial recognition, NeoFace Express can quickly verify and authenticate the identities of individuals. It can be used to improve customer service and be cross referenced against a watch list of people. With NeoFace Express, customers enjoy fast access and preferential treatment while business and government agencies benefit from the elevated security it can provide.
NEC NeoFace Express will be used by the LPGA at the entry of its player locker room to help strengthen access to this restricted area and to help increase player privacy and safety.
